At DTU Space, you will develop radiation detectors and detector systems for space and applied science. You will join our detector group working on semiconductor detectors, readout electronics, modelling and intelligent signal processing. You will build your own research profile while contributing to ongoing projects, teaching and supervision.
Responsibilities and qualifications
Your focus will be to strengthen detector research, systems development and data processing, in collaboration with colleagues and partners in Denmark and abroad.

Experience with FPGA/ASIC readout, Geant4 simulation, machine learning for detector signals or space instrumentation is an advantage.
DTU Space works across space science, space technology, Earth observation and related instrumentation. Our detector activities support missions where radiation measurements, high-resolution detector systems, readout electronics, modelling and data analysis are central.
Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
