Location: Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford
Salary Grade 5: £32,108 – £37,338 (with a discretionary range to £40,514 per annum)
Applications are invited for a PA and Group Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and personal assistant support to senior academic staff and the wider Health Economics and Policy Evaluation Group within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences.
The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Group, ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes and activities. Responsibilities will include comprehensive diary management, coordinating meetings and events, arranging travel and accommodation, supporting financial processes (including expenses, purchase orders, and invoices), and acting as a first point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will be highly organised and able to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will have substantial administrative experience, ideally including PA support to senior staff, and be confident working with financial and administrative systems. Experience in a higher education or similarly complex environment would be advantageous.
You will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work, but there may be the opportunity for occasional remote working.
The position is offered on a fixed-term basis for two years in the first instance.
