I am currently working with a leading private client practice seeking an ambitious Trusts Tax Manager to join its growing Trusts & Estates team based in London.

You will work closely with partners, senior advisers and a growing team of trust professionals. The team handles a broad range of trust matters including charitable structures and sits within a broader highly regarded private client division.

This role is ideal for someone either from a professional services or legal background looking to excel in their career and specialise within the trusts tax area.

Your new role

• Oversee a complex portfolio of UK trusts and trust structures
• Deliver and implement complex trust and estate planning advice for UK clients
• Oversee reporting for trust regulation service
• Oversee the preparation of annual trust accounts, trust tax returns and personal tax compliance
• Calculate IHT liabilities
• Mentor, supervise and develop trust professionals
• Review trust deeds and prepare trustee resolutions

What you’ll need to succeed

• Extensive UK trust experience with strong technical knowledge
• Commitment to trust management
• Strong communication and rapport building skills
• Previous experience in a professional services or legal background
