About the Role
This post represents an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced Senior Trial Manager / Trial Management Lead to work in a leading UKCRC registered Clinical Trials Unit.
The aim of the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU) is to support and encourage high quality pragmatic trials in which the primary question of interest relates to intervention effectiveness: whether an intervention works under real-life conditions.
The post holder will be expected to take on lead responsibilities for a portfolio of studies.
About You
Previous research experience in multi-site clinical trials involving NHS patients or research participants is essential.

The Institute is organised into six separate research centres which, though complementary and following the Institute strategic plan, also have Centre-specific objectives and requirements.
The post-holder will work in the Centre for Evaluation and Methods (CEM), a thriving centre that incorporates collaborative units who work to deliver outstanding research based on their combined and complementary strengths. The post-holder will contribute in particular to the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU).
