Directorate
The University of Bradford’s mission is to drive sustainable social and economic development, through outstanding teaching, translational research, creative enterprise and transformative innovation. We play an important role in our community, nationally and internationally in creating opportunity and enhancing prosperity. We are proud to be working at the heart of the UK’s most entrepreneurial city, and City of culture 2025.
In 2024 we launched the Bradford-Renduchintala Enterprise Ecosystem (BREE), a £2.6m programme which aims to stimulate and support the development of new business and social enterprises in our University and city. Through this programme, students, researchers, staff, graduates and community members are inspired to set up enterprises, receive training and mentoring, have access to seed and growth funding, and develop their new enterprises within an open, inclusive entrepreneurial environment that enables them to succeed.
