Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) leverages the power of academia for real-world impact to transform individuals, organisations and society. Since 1990, CJBS has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous thinking and high-impact transformative education, situated within one of the world’s most prestigious research universities, and in the heart of the Cambridge Cluster, the most successful technology entrepreneurship cluster in Europe.
CJBS is a highly ranked modern business school, that sits at the heart of the 800-year-old University of Cambridge in juxtaposition of the past with the future. The Accounting group is looking to recruit a research scholar in marketing at the Associate Professor or Assistant Professor level.
The Accounting group at Cambridge Judge focuses on the creation, dissemination, attestation, interpretation, use and governance of financial and environmental, social and governance information. We explore how business managers utilise information to make strategic decisions and how public companies report financial and non-financial information to key stakeholders. The Accounting group studies accounting as a public policy matter that is crucial for society as well as business.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in accounting or a related discipline and will have a record of impactful research, evidenced by publications and a strong paper pipeline. They will possess excellent teaching experience in premium business school degree programs or executive education engagements. Project administration and dissertation supervision are also expected. The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, depending on the candidate’s experience. Appointments may be made with or without tenure, depending on the candidate’s record. For those appointed on a tenure track, a decision will be made within five years.
We anticipate the start date to be 1 September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter and offer a competitive package of benefits.
