At Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts, part of University of the Arts London (UAL) digital learning is central to how creative education is delivered, experienced and evolved. We now have an exciting opportunity for a digitally confident and collaborative professional to contribute to the future of digital learning and help shape engaging, accessible and innovative learning experiences.
Working with platforms such as Moodle, Microsoft 365 and emerging AI tools, you’ll support academic teams in delivering outstanding creative arts education within one of the world’s leading university environments. You’ll work closely with academic and professional services teams, providing practical support, training and guidance that helps staff make the most of digital learning tools in both studio-based and online teaching environments. From delivering workshops to troubleshooting technical challenges, you’ll play an important role in enhancing the day-to-day digital learning experience for staff and students alike.
Working alongside experienced digital learning colleagues, you’ll help explore emerging technologies, support inclusive and accessible teaching practices, and contribute ideas that improve how digital education is delivered across arts and design disciplines.
About you
You’ll bring experience of supporting digital learning platforms within a higher or further education environment, alongside strong working knowledge of Moodle or similar virtual learning environments. Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, you’ll be comfortable delivering training, producing user guidance and helping colleagues adopt digital tools effectively within teaching and learning environments.
Alongside excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, you’ll have an understanding of accessible and inclusive digital learning practices, with an interest in emerging educational technologies, including AI. A degree or equivalent qualification is essential, while experience within arts, design or creative education — or qualifications such as CMALT — would be advantageous.
