Starting Salary is £41,374 per annum (including London Allowance)*
*This is the expected starting salary for this post however appointment at a higher point may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the role.
Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Information Security.
The role supports the delivery of the research project “New Approaches for the Linear Transform in BFV/BGV”. The successful applicant will work with Dr Rachel Player and her research team on this project. The successful applicant will be based in the Cryptography Group within the Department. This is a team of nine permanent academic staff and several PhD students who conduct research across four main areas: secure computation, post-quantum cryptography, protocol security, and cryptography for AI.
The successful applicant will have comprehensive knowledge of fully homomorphic encryption, knowledge of research techniques and methodologies relevant to cryptography research, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences. They will have strong programming skills and a good quality publication record.
