Quantity Surveyor Job at Worthing, Sussex Full Time NEW

We’re working with a well-established regional contractor to recruit a capable Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of two live projects along the South Coast.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of:

• A 4.5m project in Lancing
• A 2.5m project in Worthing
• 1 day a week in Southampton office / flexibility to WFH one day a week.

The position would suit either:

• An experienced QS looking to take responsibility for a smaller portfolio of projects, or
• An ambitious Intermediate QS ready to step up and gain greater autonomy

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial management of two concurrent projects
• Cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management
• Valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Supporting project teams to ensure financial performance and delivery

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction
• Ability to manage multiple projects or a strong desire to step up into that responsibility
• NEC contract experience desirable, but not essential
• Willingness to travel across Lancing, Worthing, and Southampton (weekly)
