As the Senior Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bid process from prequalification through to submission with a focus on the first stage, ensuring a high standard of quality and compliance throughout. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the bid process for a range of projects, managing all stages from initial prequalification to final submission.
• Collaborate with senior management, commercial teams, and technical specialists to ensure bids are competitive and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Produce high-quality, persuasive bid documentation, ensuring all submissions meet client requirements, are commercially viable, and align with the company’s standards.
• Develop detailed bid strategies, risk management plans, and win themes to maximise the chances of success.
• Provide clear and concise leadership to the bid team, ensuring timelines are met and key milestones are achieved.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and sub-contractors, throughout the bidding process.
• Continuously assess and improve bid processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager or Senior Bid Manager, ideally with a Tier 1 or major contractor in the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project delivery, and procurement procedures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrable experience in managing multiple complex bids simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail, with a strong ability to synthesise complex information into clear and compelling submissions.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
